Kitchen Porter

Working Hours
  • 6 days per week
  • 8 hours per day

Job Qualifications

  • Ensuring dishes, pots and pans are clean, dry and put away for further use
  • Emptying garbage from all of the food preparation areas
  • May be required to assist the cook in basic vegetable preparation or stirring sauces
  • The primary responsibility of our Kitchen Porters is to scrub dishes and cookware.
  • Loading the kitchen’s dishwasher appliance
  • Stacking and organizing dishes and cookware
  • Cleaning appliances, such as the oven, the grill and the refrigerator
  • Mopping, sweeping floors and cleaning bathrooms
  • When the kitchen is shorthanded, temporarily service as food servers or bus boys

  • Diligence in attendance/punctuality
