Job Qualifications
Overall responsibility for the kitchen’s daily operations
Maintaining/raising the food’s profit margins for your employer
Monitoring and controlling stock levels.
Ensuring correct stock rotation procedures are followed.
Implementation of health and safety procedures in the kitchen.
Control and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activities
Approve and “polish” dishes before they reach the customer
Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-worker
Job Requirements
Proven experience as a Cook or Head Cook
Exceptional proven ability of kitchen management
Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
Outstanding communication and leadership skills
Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
Credentials in health and safety training
Must possess a positive attitude
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work without supervision
Always maintains a professional appearance
Willingness to work overtime
Diligence in attendance/punctuality
